MTPEservices.com is a dedicated machine translation post editing platform of Stepes, the global leader in on-demand translation services for the digital age. We provide quality and affordable MTPE services for enterprise customers in two primary areas:
1 Post-editing for technical document translation and localization.
This service is similar to traditional document translation services, but it differs in that we first apply MT and then use our pre-approved human translators to systemically edit the results. This means that the final version of the localized content has the same high level of linguistic quality and technical accuracy as the translations done completely by professional human translators. However, this machine-human solution betters traditional translation methods as it significantly reduces translation costs while greatly improving project turnaround times.
2 Post-editing for MT engine training and machine learning.
This service is similar to option 1, but is more focused on editing the MT results and providing feedback to clients so they can use the data to train their MT engines for improved machine translation quality in the future. We have developed a highly streamlined post-editing process through APIs so the entire MTPE task can be carried out with unrivaled efficiency while allowing MT quality evaluation scores to be easily captured.
How It Works
We provide professional MTPE services in the following three ways:
End-to-End
In this case, clients send us the source content to be post-edited and we apply our own MTs to pre-translate content before undertaking MTPE.
Post-Edit Only
Clients send us XLIFF, bilingual Excel files, Word tables, TTX, and other bilingual files that have been pre-translated with their own MT solutions and we provide post-editing services.
API Automation
In this case, clients’ CMS systems connect to our MTPE APIs and send us content for MTPE on-demand before receiving post-edited content back automatically.
